We opened our doors on December 18, 1998 and received our AAHA Accreditation in October, 1999. SPAH is an outgrowth of Pocoshock Animal Hospital (PAH), an AAHA member hospital that has been serving the pets and residents of Chesterfield County since 1977.

We are committed to excellence in companion animal care and will work with you in providing the very best that veterinary care can offer you and your pet. We look forward to serving the Short Pump community and the residents of Glen Allen and Richmond for many years to come.
